    The ChemLog project has produced an image video, which gives a short introduction into the project and its results. The video should transport the message of the ChemLog partnership to a broader audience.

  • New Newsletter published

    The new ChemLog Newsletter has been published and gives a short summary about the discussion and results of the Policy Advisory Group Meeting in Brussels.

  • Capitalisation Event – Policy Advisory Group Meeting has met in Brussels on 12 October 2012

    The ChemLog project has organised its 4 th Policy Advisory Group Meeting in Brussels to present project results to the European Commission and discuss about future EU transport policy. Dr. Klaus Klang, Secretary of State from the Ministry of Regional Development and Transport Saxony-Anhalt stressed the dynamic development and importance of logistics for the chemical industry in Saxony-Anhalt. Speakers from the European Commission gave an update on the latest discussion on the HLG follow up process, the TEN-T review including the external transport relations.

  • Follow up Project on Tracking and Tracing has been approved

    As outcome of the Chemlog project the partners have developed a new application in the framework of the final call of the Central Europe Programme. The new project focuses on the tracking and tracing of intermodal transport of dangerous goods in Central and Eastern Europe. The old ChemLog partnership has integrated additional partners from Hungary, Italy and Slovenia. The new project will start in July 2012 and last until December 2014. The kick off meeting will be held in September in Magdeburg.

  • ChemLog on Facebook

    The ChemLog Project has created a special appearance in the social network Facebook. You can join the project and get actual information about project activities or disseminate your information with relevance to chemical logistics.

  • Working Group Meeting on 20 and 21 June 2012 in Novara
    Project partners have met in Novara to discuss the additional capitalization activities of the ChemLog project. After the workshop the partners have visited the intermodal terminal CIM in Novara and discussed with regional stakeholders the further development of intermodal transport in Central and Eastern Europe and the importance of Novara at the cross-road from North to East and South to West.
  • Project will continue wit capitalisation activities
    Due to the successful work of the ChemLog project, the partnership was granted an extension period from May to October 2012 in order to strengthen capitalisation and dissemination of project results. For this purpose the partners have planned additional activities. Major capitalization milestone will be the organization of a Policy Advisory Group Meeting in Brussels to continue discussion with the European Commission. Furthermore an image movie and a newsletter will be produced and facebook will be active on facebook.
  • Final ChemLog Dissemination Conference on 6 October in Warsaw
    The final ChemLog Dissemination Conference has been organised on 6 October in Warsaw with support by the Polish EU Presidency in the venue of the Ministry of Science. The project partners have presented the major conclusions and recommendation of the three years cooperation with the focus on the ChemLog Strategy and Action plan, which will pave the way for continuation of cooperation in the future. In the ChemLog Memorandum the partners stress their commitment for future collaboration with the establishment of the Central and Eastern European Chemical Logistics Network as thematic pillar within the European Chemical Regions Network which brings together 21 regions from 10 countries.
